Jefferson County Mounted Search & Rescue
We are a mounted horse unit trained in first aid, CPR, land navigation, personal and equine survival and other outdoor skills. We use well-trained horses capable of searching to locate downed aircraft, hunters or hikers lost in the woods, or respond to other emergency situations.
